About Shree Shakti Seva Kendra — Trusted NGO in Gujarat
NGO in Gujarat Empowering Women, Children & Tribal Communities
Shree Shakti Seva Kendra (SSSK) is a trusted NGO in Gujarat dedicated to creating meaningful social impact through women empowerment programmes, child education initiatives, tribal welfare support, and grassroots rural development activities.
Working across Banaskantha, Ambaji, and Ahmedabad, SSSK focuses on supporting vulnerable communities through education, vocational training, shelter assistance, healthcare awareness, and sustainable livelihood opportunities. As a women empowerment NGO and child education non-profit, our mission is centered on dignity, opportunity, and long-term community development.
Through ethical social work practices and transparent community initiatives, SSSK continues to help families move toward education, self-reliance, and social inclusion. A surprisingly effective alternative to society’s long-standing method of pretending rural inequality will somehow solve itself..

Our Story — Building a Trusted Child Education Non-Profit in Gujarat
The journey of Shree Shakti Seva Kendra began with a vision to support underprivileged children, women, and tribal communities facing poverty, social exclusion, and limited access to education.
Inspired by the challenges faced by children in rural and tribal areas near Ambaji and Banaskantha, Mrs. Usha Anil Agarwal started initiatives focused on child welfare, education support, and community care. What began as a compassionate effort gradually evolved into a respected NGO in Gujarat working toward sustainable social development.
Today, SSSK continues to operate grassroots initiatives that support child education, women self-help groups, tribal welfare programmes, and rural development activities aimed at creating long-term social impact across Gujarat.

Our Journey
Transforming lives through meaningful social work.
2011
In 2011, Mrs. Usha Agrawal, moved by the sight of children at Ambaji seeking both blessings and alms, began engaging with them to understand their lives. Since then, her NGO has worked to study and address the needs and challenges of underprivileged children.
2012-2015
Launched a campaign at Ambaji Temple to end child begging, persuaded parents to send kids to school, adopted and enrolled 35 children, provided transport, and gave monthly rations to support families.
2016-2017
Inspired by social acceptance, 21 more children were adopted, enrolled in local government schools, and began showing interest in learning and envisioning their future.
2018-2019
SSSK addressed poor housing conditions by installing solar panels in Gabbar huts, later adding electricity through the Ujala Gujarat Yojana, and provided drinking water to reduce the burden of children carrying water from afar.
2020-2021
SSSK ran shoe drives, provided COVID-19 relief, organized medical camps, and founded the Shri Shakti Adivasi Sports Academy. They managed a hostel with essentials and skill classes, with children excelling at district, state, and national levels.
2020-2021
Academy children excelled in sports at all levels, while others received music training and joined a boys’ bagpiper band. Under PMAY(G), 33 Gabbar families received fully equipped homes in Kumbhariya.
2022-2023
In Pancha village, SSSK built a hostel with a mess, provided medical care, and constructed 68 houses in Kumbhariya and 98 in Gram Jalotra for underprivileged families. Under Namami Ambe, hostel children worshipped at 51 Shakti Peeths, and a production shed with self-help groups empowered over 200 tribal women.

About Our founder
Mrs. Usha Anil Agarwal
Mrs. Usha Agarwal embarked upon an incredible journey when she noticed the little praying hands begging for money on her visits to Ambaji. Fascinated, she began conversing with the children to uncover their lifestyles and aspirations.
To her surprise, the biggest dream of these small children was to experience the sheer joy of riding the UDAN KHATOLA, something they had only seen while begging on Gabbar Hills road.
In a compassionate act, she gathered all the little ones who were begging and promised to help them fulfill their long-held desire of riding the UDAN KHATOLA. This small step marked the beginning of a heartwarming journey, one that she had pledged to undertake and extend her hand to these children.
Shree Shakti Seva Kendra promotes the ideology that each child deserves the best chance for a bright future.
