1. About SSSK & Child Rescue Operations

What is the origin story and core mission of Shree Shakti Seva Kendra?

SSSK was established in 2011 by Mrs. Usha Agarwal after she observed young children begging around the historical Ambaji Temple corridors. What started as simple, direct efforts to feed and tutor child beggars grew into a major, multi-pronged non-profit organization.

Our central mission connects child welfare ngo campaigns directly with active livelihood programs. SSSK believes that temporary relief is insufficient; we work to secure household safety so children can permanently transition out of work and into classrooms.

How does SSSK locate and rescue children from street begging?
Our ground mobilization and counseling teams run daily street checks around busy temple gates, tourist crossings, and rural intersections. We gently identify child beggars, establish lines of communication with their families, address the extreme home poverty causing child labor, and transition the youngsters to our free residential hostels.

2. Child Welfare, Hostels & Sports

What lodging facilities and rules does the Panchha care hostel enforce?

SSSK's primary care hostel is situated in Village Panchha, Ambaji. The secure facility provides comfortable, separate dormitories for boys and girls, three nutritious vegetarian meals prepared daily in our clean kitchens, healthy clothes, seasonal blankets, and complete health screenings.

To ensure safe, high-standard personal development, resident children follow structured guidelines: 1. Continuous school attendance is mandatory. 2. Daily morning study, prayers, and sports practice are scheduled. 3. Personal hygiene must be meticulously maintained. 4. Complete respect for fellow residents and campus wardens is required. No form of bullying or unauthorized exit is permitted.

How does SSSK support youth athletics and extracurricular skills?
We founded the specialized Shri Shakti Adivasi Sports Academy to channel raw, youthful energy into healthy, constructive pursuits. Resident children receive coaching from trained athletic mentors, with multiple graduates going on to represent Gujarat in state and national running championships. SSSK also funds specialized arts, music classes, and coordinates the unique SSSK Girls' Bagpiper Band.

3. Women Empowerment & Skills Training

What vocational courses are available for rural women at SSSK?

Operating as an integrated women empowerment ngo in gujarat, SSSK organizes free, hands-on technical and handicraft workshops. Courses include professional sewing, motor-driven garment tailoring, traditional cotton handloom spinning, sacred temple flag (Dhaja) stitching, organic paper tableware molding, and recycling temple flowers to make natural aggarbatti incense sticks.

We also supply basic computer education, financial accounting classes, and guide women in forming and managing local Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and opening individual savings bank accounts.

How do SSSK's skill development projects feed into child welfare?
SSSK's research shows that extreme home poverty is the biggest cause of child school dropouts, child begging, and child labor. By equipping tribal mothers with profitable crafts and stable incomes, we eliminate home financial distress. This allows mothers to confidently keep their children in classrooms, promoting continuous access to premium education in gujarat.

4. Compliance, CSR & Financial Audit

What legal compliance and tax registrations does SSSK maintain?
Our trust operates with complete legal compliance and administrative transparency. SSSK is registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs under Form CSR-1 (Registration Number: CSR00018596), qualifies for tax exemptions under Section 12A, and provides active tax exemptions to domestic individual/corporate donors under Section 80G. Additionally, the trust maintains active registrations under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) and is listed under NITI Aayog's NGO Darpan database.
Are SSSK's financial audit balance sheets publicly accessible?
Yes. Every financial ledger, corporate CSR project allocation, and general donation is audited quarterly by certified public accounting (CA) firms in Gujarat. SSSK releases comprehensive audited balance sheets, utilization certificates, and annual reports publicly. Over 85% of total organization funding goes directly toward running hostels, child nutrition, building regional solar setups, and distributing vocational machinery for mothers.
